About me

I’m a Ph.D. student at NYU, where I work under the supervision of Daniele Panozzo and Claudio T. Silva. My research focuses on making 3D scanning easier, cheaper, and faster through data-driven methods while keeping it accurate and reliable.

Before NYU, I was a Physics Ph.D. student at Columbia University with Professor Abhay Pasupathy, where I worked in Cryogenic Atomic Force Microscopy. I graduated with a Master's degree in 2024 to join the Ph.D. at NYU.

I am very passionate about teaching and mentorship. At Columbia University, in addition to research, I was awarded a Lead Teaching Fellowship in the 2023-2024 academic year and taught several physics laboratory courses. In the academic year of 2021-2022, I was a full-time teacher at Xaverian High School, in Brooklyn, NY. There, I taught sixth-grade engineering and high school physics. In 2021, I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in physics and a minor in education at Columbia University.

In my spare time, I love reading (check my GoodReads to see what I am reading now and how I am doing on my yearly goal), playing Sudoku, and rating restaurants on Beli.
